St Denys, Northmoor

St Denys, Northmoor

St Denys is one of five churches in the Lower Windrush Benefice. The church is a late 13th/early 14th century build.

Over the last few years, St. Denys’ has had major repairs to preserve the beauty and character of the church.

The local area offers many attractions, including Chimney Meadow Nature reserve, an ancient landscape and vital refuge for wading birds that has been created by the Thames and The Windrush Path Mosaic Trail , a series of striking and individual mosaics that act as way-markers and points of interest along a 2 mile footpath from the river Thames at Newbridge through to Standlake.
